About the Artist

Numerous solo and group exhibitions including the 2013 solo show “Prunk” at Sotheby’s Artist Quarterly in Vienna, Austria.
Fabian Patzak’s work has been exhibited internationally and is housed in both public and private collections. Patzak earned his Masters degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Markus Muntean and Adi Rosenblum, and has held residencies in Santiago de Chile and New York City. In review of his solo exhibition Someplace Next Year, Wolfgang Pichler names Patzak as “one of the most outstanding representatives of a young generation of painters who demonstrate a strong affinity for spatial depictions.” In 2015 Patzak was awarded the Theodor Körner Prize for visual arts for his series Unugly Buildings. Fabian Patzak lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
